Neu Oscuro’s deliciously dark and intense ‘Desolation EP’ is a five track offering featuring the singles ‘Desolation Suits Me’ and ‘The Basterd Machines’.

The digital download card included inside the vinyl packaging also includes access to the (previously unheard) original full version of their much praised 2022 debut single, ‘Ragazza’!

For the uninitiated, Neu Oscuro was born out of friendship forged in the dank Manchester underground music scene, and with a range of continental influences, psych styles and dark post-punk vibes evident, the band’s sound is largely built upon the murkier side of frontman Rhys Bloodjoy’s solo work.

Together, with Le Crowley (Astral Elevator) and the much sought after David Sheffield (Bones Shake) both on percussive duties, the trio reveal a dangerous and bare-bones side to Bloodjoy’s already intense style of music—still utilising sophisticated loops, but with the addition of primitive live drums and deep synth basslines.

Exuding darkness and mystique, Neu Oscuro have big plans for 2025 with the “Desolation EP” marking the start of their domination.
